Roy Medley, the general secretary of American Baptist Churches USA (ABCUSA), the pastoral and administrative leader of the 1.3-million-member denomination and over 5200 congregations. Rev. All are welcome to our 5th annual Advent Workshop today after worship. Advent Workshop is a 10 station crafting and creating workshop with fellowship lunch, providing you and your family the opportunity to tangibly prepare for the Advent season. Plan to attend and sign up on the board in the gathering area. Expect fellowship, fun, and engage in Advent Workshop Stations suitable for both children and adults.
After the Christmas parade, come and experience the story of the Nativity like you have never heard it before! Through powerful music,
featuring the choir and Men of Faith Quartet, and compelling drama, journey with Joseph as he receives the news that he would be the father of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, through immaculate conception. Joseph is often the forgotten character of the Nativity story, but
experiences God’s revelation through powerful events. Join us on December 5 @ 7:35 p.m. and be propelled back in time to experience the greatest story ever told.
Come take part in a Mission Morning. For just a couple of hours, you can help out at the Gateway House of Peace by washing windows or by playing Bingo with the residents at Maplewood Manor. These two places have been very grateful for our assistance in the past. Please prayerfully consider volunteering for such a worthwhile cause. Sign up in the gathering area.
Provided by Rite Aid, flu shots will be made available to both church members and the community. Those that want to participate will need to bring their insurance card or pay $31.99 for the shot. Financial assistance will be provided to church members that does not have insurance or the financials means.
