Study on the Book of Acts led by Terry van den Heever

Jesus said, “I am going away.” The disciples heard nothing else after that, not even when He promised to send the Holy Spirit to teach and empower them. They must have thought it was impossible to carry on without Jesus. Then came Pentecost and the disciples were transformed into apostles. Join us as we discover the Acts of the Apostles, as the Holy Spirit created the Church and the Gospel spread to the ends of the earth. It will be an exciting journey!

Youth Rock Climbing Kick Off

Our kickoff for Ignite is September 23 @ The Edge indoor rock-climbing facility in Halfmoon.  We are meeting at the church @ 4:30pm and the then traveling down together. Food will be provided. We need to get a decent RSVP number for food and staffing. Please let me know roughly how many youth and adults you are bringing by September 21.

Every climber needs to bring $12, youth or adult. Adults will be needed to spot other climbers, but don’t have to climb themselves.

Fall Festival

Don’t miss our First Baptist Fall Festival, which will be held right after service on Sunday, September 16th 11:30-1pm. We will kick off the start to a new year at FBC with games, prizes, hot dogs, ice cream, and a bouncy house. This is an opportunity to invite family, friends and neighbors to come and learn about the many programs, organizations, and activities that FBC offers. Please save the date now and begin inviting friends!
